Family involvement is one of the most unique aspects of our school. Parents get to play an active role in their child's education — and in making our school a success. Read on to learn more about our involvement requirements.
Involvement Requirements:
** A minimum of two shifts/month must be worked by a trained parent of the enrolled child. For the other two shifts, parents are welcome to choose shift subs from an approved list.
- Work one shift per week in your child's classroom**
- Hold a co-op administrative job
- Attend general membership meetings - 5 per school year
- Participate in two work parties (fall/spring), and one room cleaning
- Participate in fundraisers - our annual fundraising goal, which varies each year, is divided equally amongst all families. Reaching our fundraising goal helps to keep our school operating at its best. Goals are easily to met with many fundraising opportunities throughout the course of the year:
- Wreath Sale
- Shop For Co-op
- Restaurant Nights
- Plant Sale
- Parents' Night Out Annual Auction (Bid on donations from great organizations like Oregon Beach Vacations!)
